Before you submit the questionnaire, here are a few things to keep in mind: The importance of understanding and following the guidelines of this booking process is imperative, as it is the only way to schedule with Samantha.

PLEASE READ THOROUGHLY.

Unfortunately, there are not enough available appointments to accommodate everyone who submits an idea. The volume of requests normally received is higher than the amount of available appointments, so I am forced to be very selective about the ideas that are taken on. This is to ensure that every one of my clients gets the best work I have to offer. So, if your idea is not booked by me, you can read more about why in the following texts, and can request a referral to another trusted, local artist. I love to tattoo large pieces, such as sleeves/backpieces, but keep in mind that I also tattoo small imagery and script. No idea is too big or small. Make sure you are familiar with my style/portfolio and enjoy what I already make. Even though I'm open to most all styles and concepts, the tattoo will always end up having my illustrative flair to it.  

 

General pricing/rates

  • Starting this booking round, Samantha's hourly rate is $250/hour. Previously discussed prices will be respected until your ongoing project is complete. 

  • Before requesting a continuous piece such as an arm/leg sleeve, full back, etc., It is important to know the reality of the time and monetary commitment it takes to achieve a large piece. 

  • Your budget will be asked in the tattoo request form, and we will let you know if your idea is attainable within your price range. If it's not, we can talk about alternative sizes or options.

​Ideas/requests that will not be scheduled â€‹

  • Cultural tattoos such as but not limited to: Polynesian tribal, and day of the dead skulls. 

  • Coverups, unless the tattoo is small/faded and you want to get a tattoo that’s exceptionally larger. Otherwise, all coverups are referred to @shainesmithtattoo

  • There are quite a few commonly popular ideas such as octopi, flowers, birds, Medusa (or other Greek/roman gods and goddesses), so she will only choose a few and book a limited amount of repeated ideas.​

  • If your idea is too busy or contains too many subject matters. 

    • For the most aesthetically pleasing design; your tattoo should be limited to one main subject and no more than two supporting background elements. 

  • If your idea is too conceptual and you do not have adequate information to help her create a design.  

    • Samantha will not come up with your design for you. If your submission does not include a clear subject matter or says to do whatever she wants to do, it will be declined. If you truly do not care what you want to be tattooed; submit for a flash design or abstract freehand piece.

Deposit Information​​

​

​To schedule your appointment, Samantha takes a $200 appointment deposit. Payment of your deposit invoice represents your full understanding of and agreement to the terms below.

​

Please ensure that your appointment date does not conflict with any travel plans or prior commitments, and take your time to double check your schedule upon scheduling, as your $200 appointment deposit is non-transferable and non-refundable, regardless of reason. If you cancel your appointment at any time or do not attend your confirmed appointment, the deposit will be forfeited without notice. If you are more than 30 minutes late for your scheduled appointment time, your appointment will be considered cancelled and a new appointment deposit will be required to reschedule. For rescheduling, 7 days notice prior to the confirmed appointment date/time is required, or you will be asked to put down a new appointment deposit. You are able to reschedule your appointment one time with sufficient 7 day notice and keep your initial deposit. If subsequent rescheduling occurs, a new deposit will be required, regardless of the period of notice. Your appointment is considered tentative until we have receipt of your deposit, which must be paid within 10 days of receiving your invoice, or your appointment will be considered cancelled by default and open to other clients. The appointment deposit is NOT AN ADDITIONAL CHARGE, and will be credited to the final price of the tattoo. If your tattoo requires multiple sessions, the appointment deposit will be deducted from the final price of the final session.
